The Gorgeous Vescine winery – Chianti Classico wines

HIANTI CLASSICO VESCINE: HISTORY, TRADITION, PASSION AND THE UNIQUE FEATURES OF THE CHIANTI CLASSICO TERRITORY. Our winery is located in the municipality of Radda in Chianti (Siena Province). An original historic town at 550 meters over sea level, right in the heart of Chianti Classico (Tuscany). The taste of our wines respects the history and tradition of this fabulous and unique territory. Vèscine winery is located into the cellar of Castelvecchi castle whose origins date back to the XI century (more than 1.000 years ago) . It is one of the oldest and beautiful places in the Chianti Classico area. The castle was built in order to protect the historic church: Pieve of Santa Maria Novella. Vèscine vineyards follow the sweet lines designed by the rolling hills of the Chianti Classico. The average altitude of 560 meters on the sea level is playing an important role in order to obtain wines rich in aroma and in polyphenols.
