With her husband Stephen (and now with their children on board too), Prue Henschke is in charge of one of the best wineries not just in Australia but the whole world. In the rather noisy environs of the Vintners Bar & Grill near Angaston in the Barossa, she explains to Simon Woods why she’s just planted some Gruner Veltliner, and how her vineyards are responding to biodynamic farming.
